Making Art in the Lab

Lab students can take advantage of a variety of tools and supplies from DSLR cameras to digital drawing tablets. The lab also hosts frequent events where students can participate in arts and crafts in a fun, stress-free environment where they are encouraged to hang out with friends and relax. Even students who are not interested in art can still do a fun craft activity with other lab students. For students with a deeper interest in the arts, there is mentorship and opportunities to design and complete creative projects that they can share with the community.

Art Field Trips

Students have opportunities to participate in field trips with the KCDML in the Kansas City area. Team Digital students have gone to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, while regular attendees have been able to go to art festivals, exhibits, or just go create beautiful work out and about in town.
